• What is Celebrity Messages?

Celebrity Messages provides authentic celebrity video and audio messages via mobile phones and email. It is the first company to develop and offer the purchase of content from one mobile phone to be used on another, known as 'gifting'.

• Are all these products from the genuine celebrity?

Yes, all of the videos, ringtones and video e-cards are from the actual celebrities themselves not impersonators who may look and sound like them. Celebrity Messages has invested time in writing scripts and filming each artist so that you can send a message from them to a friend or download their ringtones. All the Celebrities were great to film and added many personal touches to the finished product.

• How do I order a video, ringtone or video e-card to send to someone I know?

We have included a number of options for ordering content on the site, to suite all preferences.

If you would like to send someone a Celebrity Video to their mobile all you need to do is select the Celebrity Video you wish to send (Fig.1 A) then select “Buy Clip Now” (Fig.2 B), you will then see 4 payment options (Fig.2) these are Pay Via Text, Send to Mobile, Credit Card, Account Credits. These are explained below

Pay via Text

Simply text the order code (Fig.2 A) then leave a space and then the recipient’s mobile number to 68777 For example, if you wanted to order Vinnie Jones 'Cheer-up' Celebrity Video (order code VJV1) for a friend whose mobile number is 07711223344 then you would do the following:
Type VJV1(space)07711223344 and then send that to 68777.

You will then receive 2 SMS text messages confirming your order (each of these messages will charge you £1.50 (total £3.00) to pay for the Video. Delivery of the video will then be made to the mobile number given.

The recipient of the Celebrity Video will be sent a browser message containing a link to download and play the Celebrity Video. Your mobile number will also be displayed in the message so they will know who sent it to them.


Pay By Phone

You can also pay through your phone by selecting “Send to Mobile” (Fig.2 C), you will then be asked to enter your phone number as shown in Fig.3, then select your mobile network and click on send SMS. A link will then be sent to your phone. Activate the link in this message to go to the wap page where you can either download the content direct to your phone or enter a friend’s number who you wish to send the piece of content to. Your friend will then receive a message containing the link for them to download the item.

You will then receive 2 SMS text messages confirming your order (each of these messages will charge you £1.50 (total £3.00) to pay for the Video. Delivery of the video will then be made to the mobile number given.

Pay by Credit Card

To pay by credit card, select ”Pay by Credit Card” as shown in Fig.2 (D). If you want to send a Video e-card (Electronic Greeting Card) to someone you know then simply select the Video e-card you want to send and add to basket. You will then be asked to register (new customer) or to Login (existing customer) and confirm the order in your basket by proceeding to the Checkout. At that stage you will then need to input the recipients email address and a personalised message you wish send with the Video e-card.

The system will then take you to our payment section for you to complete payment by way of a credit/debit card. All major debit and credit cards are accepted other than America Express. Once you have completed the card details to take payment from you will then get confirmation that your order has been processed for delivery and taken back to the Celebrity Messages web site.

The recipient will then be sent an email from Celebrity Messages which will contain your personalised email message and the link to view/download their Video e-card.

Account Credits


• Can I personalise the video-tone or video-e-card?

Currently you are able to add a personal message to be sent in the email along with the Video e-card. Videos and ringtones sent to the recipients mobile only contain the sender's mobile number. We are working on personalisation techniques and hope to add this function shortly.

• When will I or the recipient receive my mobile content?

All orders are sent immediately, however for content sent to mobile this is dependent on network coverage and the network provider's service. The content will be delivered as soon as there is an adequate coverage level.

• Is my network compatible?

All UK networks are compatible with this service. However please check with your network provider that you handset is both WAP and Internet connected.

• How do I view how many credits I have left on my account?

Credit information and your remaining balance along with your account details, order history, calendar for important dates and updates can be found in the 'My Account' section on the website.

• Will mine or my friends mobile be able to receive Celebrity Videos or Ringtones?

Most mobile handsets can receive wap links to download content. The majority of the latest handsets will be able to play the ringtones and if the handset is video enabled (doesn't mean 3G) then you will also be able to play and receive the Video content. If you are in any doubt please check the mobile compatibility list.

• Can I set reminder's important dates?

Yes we have sent a reminder function in the 'My Account' section so that you never forget your friend's Birthday or even worse forget Valentines Day! Simply input your key date and what you need to be reminded about and we will prompt you in advance.

• I have received a Video E-Card but I cannot play it?

The Video E-Card plays on the Windows Media Player and therefore check that you have this software installed. If you already have Windows Media Player and it still does not play, you may have an older version (older than Windows Media Player 8) and therefore you will need to update your Windows Media Player. This will take a few seconds (link to Windows Media Player Update)

• The ringtone doesn't sound the same as on the web site preview?

Each mobile phone has a different speaker and therefore the sound quality will be dependant on the type of handset you are downloading the ringtones to. When you order a ringtone, we can automatically assess your type of handset and we will send you the content that is compatible with that handset.

• How do I get WAP set-up on my phone?

Some phones are supplied without their network Wap settings being activated. You will need to contact your network and/or handset manufacturer to activate your WAP settings and enable Wap Push messages, please see network website links

• I can't seem to access the wap link sent to me?

Your handset may not be set up to access WAP sites or WAP push messages. You will need to contact your network and/or handset manufacturer to active WAP and enable WAP push messages, please see network website links (hyperlink to that section)
